2 days until the Start of the 25th Ohio Lesbian Festival!
We have some BREAKING NEWS for all you Camping Fanatics. . . the campgrounds are going to have whole new look and feel this year! General camping is being moved closer to the stage and festival activities! There will be no tall grass to contend with and more trees and shade.
If you are in need of electricity at your campsite – medical necessity only – you must apply asap. We are also offering campsite set-up assistance if you have limitations. Both these options must be scheduled ahead of time, you can find the forms at http://ohiolesbianfestival.wordpress.com/faq/camping/ We will still have camping sections designated for “accessible”, “family” and “RV”. We will also have a separate section for campers using generators. You need to tell a camping volunteer upon arrival if you plan to use a generator out of respect for your fellow campers and the performers on stage.
As always, camping is $20 per site for the entire weekend. A site means one tent or one RV. And don’t forget that open fires are only allowed at designated community fire rings.
Question: What do you call spending an “Evening under the Stars” with Beverly McClellan, Melissa Ferrick, Melanie DeMore, Big Bad Gina, & Viva! and the Velvet Hearts?
Answer: Saturday Night Stage at the 25th Ohio Lesbian Festival. You do not want to miss this!

In the late 1980’s a group of central Ohio women got together and started something very special.
They decided that they would hold a picnic and invite all women to come and gather with them.
This year, 2014, is the 25th anniversary of that first Ohio Lesbian Festival.
From it’s beginnings as a small one-day party the festival has grown into a 3-day, nationally known, celebration of women’s music, art, and culture.
We invite you to join us September 19 – 21, 2014 and experience the amazing performers, camping under the stars, craftswomen, workshops, and much more.
